For a kid raised on Cliff Freeman spots for Wendy’s and Little Caesars, who yelled “Where’s the beef!” at family dinners, working on this legacy brand was amazing. I could put dozens of our Little Caesars spots on my reel, but this simple one is my favorite. Barton F Graf’s partnership with the client lasted for years and defined the agency. I learned from these spots that working with smaller budgets just means you have to focus on which parts of the film craft are most important. And that wheeling and dealing with non-union talent in a Little Caesars parking lot can be a very good time.
